I visited Trulieve late on a Friday afternoon. I was lucky to find this strain available, as it is one of their most popular and the first to sell out. Sour Diesel seems to have a cult following, and I can definitely see why. It is a sativa-dominant strain that is named for its pungent, diesel-like aroma. (Read more by clicking the photo above.)
Liberty Health has partnered with The Werc Shop to produce some of their Pax Era Pod concentrates. When you see a Werc Shop logo on a product, you know it is quality. The concentrate I tried was Bubba Kush. This particular batch was 83.8% THC and .9% CBD. Bubba Kush is a full Indica, my favorite! This means it has a heavy sedating effect. The Pax Era pod has been described as the Apple of vaporizers, and its easy to see why. It looks different than other vape pens with with a flat body (makes it easy to hold) that is only 3.3" long. Currently, the sole color option is black, but you can engrave it with a custom graphic. The pen is so streamlined, sleek and discrete, that I have a difficult time finding it in my purse. The particular batch I tried was 20.9% THC and 0.1% CBD. Due to its higher THC level, it doesn't take much to feel the euphoric effects. As a result, Super A5 is mainly recommended for patients with chronic stress, anxiety, and chronic depression. Other patients have also found relief from restless nights that result from insomnia. If euphoria isn't your thing, the strain is also beneficial in low doses. It can improve creativity and productivity without clouding up your head space for too long. Something that Liberty Health has done beautifully, is figure out a way to integrate different brands into their portfolio. This took thought, because Florida is a seed to sale state. Meaning, all dispensaries must run the entire process, from growing and extracting, to selling. As a result, dispensaries typically only sell their own brand of products, with some strain cross overs here and there. Not Liberty Health. Odra, better known as OG Kush, is a hybrid strain. It is the genetic backbone of West Coast varieties, and is knows for its high THC content. This cream was a pleasant surprise! Upon opening it, I was greeted by a wiff of lavender. I love lavender, so I very much enjoyed it. I found it added a relaxing component to the product, which makes sense considering most ointments are massaged in to relieve muscle pain, arthritis, nerve damage, and inflammation from injury. Of all the products I tried from Fluent, this was one of my favorites. Baldor, more commonly known as Blue Dream, is a hybrid strain the leans more on the Sativa side.
