One Plant originates from California and I couldn’t be happier to see they are bringing their clean aesthetic & welcoming vibe to Florida. When you walk into their dispensary in Boynton Beach, the feeling is immediately different than other dispensaries. It is more of a retail experience, featuring a completely open space that is flooded with natural light and fresh flowers sprinkled throughout. You check in at what could be a hostess stand, and then you are free to take a seat or walk around and explore select merchandise. One Plant presents a lifestyle, carrying t-shirts, yoga mats, rolling trays, CBD beauty products, CBD gummies and cookies, and even CBD pet products. Once my name was called about 3 minutes later, I did go into a smaller room to review the flower options. This is when the real fun began. It is clear that One Plant focuses on flower, so it makes sense that when they arrived to Florida, they partnered with 3 Boys Farm, known for their potent, organically grown flower and their passion for cannabis.

One Plant keeps it simple and offers 3 tiers of flower (found on their local website ) – Mesosphere (tier one), Thermosphere (tier two), and Exosphere (tier three). The higher the tier, the more curated the bud. Organizing it this way makes it very clear to patients what they can expect from each tier for the value. Speaking of value, One Plant also offers discounts based on volume (hallelujah!). Bonus, it doesn’t all have to be one strain – you can mix and match strains from a particular tier and still qualify for the volume discount. They also have a preground ounce for $99 which is amazing if you bake with your flower, or like to use a dry herb vaporizer. For those who love flower as much as me, you’ll understand that I was like a kid in a candy store. Currently, all of the strains are THC dominant, but they do plan to release a 1:1 CBD:THC option any day now. When I visited, there were (4) strains available (3 thermosphere and 1 exosphere), as well as (6) strains in pre-rolls (.5g and 1g, all mesophere). My budtender was extremely knowledgeable, and helped me pick the strains that are right for me. They also carry cartridges for those more discerning moments.

Beyond their focus on flower, it is quickly apparent that One Plant also puts an emphasis on education, saying that knowledge is key. It begins on the main page of their website, where they not only explain THC vs CBD, but also detail indica vs sativa, the effects of each, and the ailments they might benefit. Also, in the dispensary, there are large signs flanking the budtender stations that detail the major terpenes & their benefits, as well as cannabinoids 101. Both signs are extremely clear, easy to read and easy understand for any level of consumer. It doesn’t end there. On their local site, they also list each stain, its description, expected taste, likely effect and estimated THC/CBD percentage. Soon, it will also include the terpene and cannabinoid profile of each.

Currently, One Plant only has one dispensary in Boynton Beach, but they have plans to open 15 more stores throughout the state this year. They also offer free delivery statewide for any orders over $125. For orders under $125, there is a $25 delivery fee.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at One Plant. They did a great job creating an inviting and educational environment, where patients can comfortably learn about cannabis and purchase the product at the same time. I bought a variety of strains in 1/8ths and pre-rolls, as well as a new cartridge. Stay tuned for reviews of each!
