Infused Garlic Mayo using Binske’s Oil

Can you think of anything better than a BLT smothered with infused garlic mayo?! I’ve been craving a BLT for a while now & I’m always looking for fun, easy ways to elevate & incorporate cannabis into my meals (I find edibles help my Crohn’s the most). One of my favorite ways to do this, is with @binske infused olive oil from @trulieve_fl. Truffle is my go to flavor, but they also have lemon, rosemary, garlic, & olive oil. I add it to my scrambled eggs, pasta, soup, popcorn, marinades, salads, the list goes on & on.

The olive oil Binske uses is 100% estate produced extra virgin olive oil & is packed with its own naturally occurring vitamins, antioxidants, & anti-inflammatory compounds. I was not able to find much information on the cannabis used in the tincture, or the extraction method. However, each bottle contains 300 mg of THC, (1) dropper is 10 mg. An hour after consumption is when I feel the full effect & it lasts about 2-3 hours. This product definitely provides a euphoric feeling, unless micro-dosed (2.5 mg or less). It’s more of a head high, which makes me think a sativa dominate hybrid is used. To get creative with the oils on this blah Monday, I decided to make an infused garlic mayo. C

What you’ll need:

Blend egg in a food processor for 20 seconds. Then add vinegar, mustard, salt & lemon juice (if using). Blend for 20 seconds. Then, slowly add the oil (drops at a time) while you continue blending. Once you’ve added 1/4 of the oil in drops, increase the speed in which you add the oil to a slow stream, while still blending. After the oil is blended in, you have mayo! This recipe produces 1 cup = 80 mg of THC = 5 mg of THC per tablespoon. I used the mayo to make a delicious infused BLT, but can also use it in dips, marinades, & dressings. It will keep about a week+ in the fridge & cost me $8.50. Have you tried Binske oils?

  • 8 mL of Binske Garlic Olive Oil
  • 1 tbs Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 cup Canola Oil (minus 8 mL or 8 droppers of the Binske infused garlic olive oil)
  • 1 tbs Dijon Mustard
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 egg room temp
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Blend egg in a food processor for 20 seconds.

Add vinegar, mustard, salt & lemon juice (if using) to the egg and blend for 20 seconds.

Slowly add the oil (drops at a time) while you continue blending.

With edibles, always go low and slow. Consuming cannabis orally will provide a different effect than inhalation.
