FLUENT

Skip to Fluent product reviews here.

From the moment you walk in, it’s obvious that Fluent (previously known as Knox) is a high-end dispensary. You enter into a waiting room that looks like it came out of a Crate & Barrel catalog, complete with a wood accent wall. The chairs and sofa are sleek, featuring accent pillows with their slogan “We speak cannabis”. Once you are checked in, a sales associate takes you behind the smoked glass doors, into the main room.

The main space is a single, big open room with glossy, white tile floors and the same modern aesthetic. There are a total of 5 cash reps & counters around the perimeter where patients are helped. There are no private rooms, and it did become a bit loud around 5pm when it got busy. Being that it was my first time in, and I knew we had a lot to review, I was surprised we didn’t take a seat somewhere and settle in. I visited for about an hour, which they said was a standard length of time for a first visit. In that time, I learned a lot about Fluent, and what they have to offer.

Fluent emphasizes that they carry the highest quality cannabis in the industry. They go on to state that their products are not only effective, but also consistent. Consistency is a very important factor when talking about medical marijuana. It is imperative to know that when you find a strain or method that works for you, it is available in the future, in that exact makeup, to provide the same results over and over again. They also get deliveries weekly. If something is out of stock, it usually isn’t for very long (except for flower, which seems very hit or miss here). If they are out of something, they can put you on a contact list to be notified when it is available.

They also put an emphasis on technology. Not only in the nursery, and lab, but also products that are available to the consumer. They had a new vape pen by Vuber called “The Pulse,” that is essentially a smart pen ($50). It reads the resistance of the cartridge and automatically adjusts the heat setting for optimal use. This is a very convenient accessory, and just one less thing for a patient to think about when switching between cartridges and concentrates.

Currently, Fluent offers 12 different strains. Of those, 7 contain THC only, 3 are a CBD : THC blend, and 2 are predominantly CBD. The products are color coded, so it is easy to tell what you are consuming. Red for THC, purple for a blend, blue for CBD and black for concentrates. What did take some getting used to is the novel names they have assigned old, familiar strains. For example, OG Kush is referred to as Odra, Sour Diesel is Subra, and Blue Dream is Baldor, to name a few. To help keep it all straight, they do have a very comprehensive guide of all strains available, and the corresponding products. I purchased a variety of strains and methods of consumption.
