Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds, produced in the trichomes of the cannabis plant. What's amazing, is they are exclusive to cannabis and have not been detected in any other plant. They bond with our body's Endocannabinoid System (ECS), causing a therapeutic effect. With ECS receptors all over our body, benefits from cannabinoids are typically varied & widespread. There are more than 100 confirmed cannabinoids - not just THC & CBD. We also are starting to see specific cannabinoids be isolated for particular health benefits. When the budtender described this strain, he told me it was the one to grab if nothing else is working. So, of course I purchased 1/8th. This strain is named 9 Pound Hammer for a reason. Almost immediately, you are hit with the effects of heavy-duty sedation. I was energized and ready to write, but after a few inhalations of 9 lb Hammer, I was on the couch and ready to close my eyes.
