I was invited to the Open Forum podcast of The Villages by host Mike Roth. It was a unique experience as Mike does this podcast out of hobby and passion. The Villages is the largest retirement community in the world, where all 80,000 of its residents are age 55+. The “community” is more like a city, spanning 57 square miles. In 2020, my mother and I established the Medical Marijuana Club of The Villages. We meet every month at the Lake Miona Recreation Center, where I teach cannabis 101, how to get your medical card in Florida, and answer any questions members might have. It is a free resource for the community. I look forward to these meetings and this group of very special people. It is a great honor and pleasure to work with them. I may be teaching them, but I learn just as much from their life wisdoms.
